Briefly: After so, so many years of development, with just about every director-star combo imaginable, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies finally has a set release date. Screen Gems will put the comedy horror mashup in theaters February 19, 2016, putting it up against the Naomi Watts thriller Shut In.
Based on the hit novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies moves the plot of Jane Austen‘s Pride and Prejudice to an idyllic English countryside littered with the undead. Lily James, Bella Heathcote, Ellie Bamber, Millie Brady, and Suki Waterhouse play the five Bennet sisters. Sam Riley, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, and Matt Smith are their would-be suitors. Burr Steers directs.
We added production stills and poster from Bella’s upcoming movie entitled The Rewrite that is scheduled to hit theaters February 13, 2015. She plays Karen. Can’t wait to see the movie!

Have you seen the Bennet sisters lately? It might be time to get reacquainted with Jane Austen’s most famous family. Elizabeth (Lily James), Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) aren’t just eligible singles anymore; they’re sword- and knife-wielding martial artists.
With a zombie apocalypse that’s been raging for more than 70 years, they kind of have to be. Writer-director Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down) took on the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s enormously popular book Pride and Prejudice and Zombies after years of development hell—David O. Russell had penned a draft and was attached to direct at one point—and rewrote the script with an eye toward realism. “The first thing I did was reinsert all the Pride and Prejudice beats,” says Steers, who also beefed up the roles of Darcy (Sam Riley) and Wickham (Jack Huston).
But it’s the spark-plug sisters who steal the show with their corset-bound roundhouse kicks. When it comes to her character, James doesn’t think that’s too much of a stretch. “Even in the original story, Elizabeth’s a fighter and beyond her contemporaries in her ambitions and her ideas of women,” she says. “She’s a badass warrior. She’s a ninja.” Filming began in late September; the action-adventure literary adaptation should hit the big screen next year.

Yet another title change for one of Bella’s films! Cogan’s Trade has officially been renamed to Killing Them Softly.
I know that a lot of our readers are very interested in seeing Cogan’s Trade, which is the new film from Andrew Dominik (Chopper, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford) starring Brad Pitt and a wonderful supporting cast. Trouble is, now it seems that you’ll never see Cogan’s Trade. To be more specific, you’ll get a chance to see Dominik’s new movie, but it will have a different title.
Variety’s Jeff Sneider said via Twitter: The Brad Pitt pic Cogan’s Trade has been retitled Killing Them Softly.
According to SlashFilm, the original title of Twylight Zones has officially been changed to Not Fade Away.
Not Fade Away., scheduled for release Oct 19, is an autobiographical film about a teen in a rock band in 1960s suburbia, rumored to be based on David Chase’s own experiences growing up. He’s played by John Magaro and his bandmates will be played by Jack Huston and Will Brill. Gandolfini will play Magaro’s father, Molly Price plays his mother and Lisa Lampanelli is his aunt. Magaro’s love interest is Bella Heathcote, her father is Christopher McDonald and Brad Garrett is a music producer.
